Over Labor Day weekend in 2022, the legendary boxing champion and cannabis entrepreneur Mike Tyson went on a meet-and-greet tour in New Jersey to debut his Tyson 2.0 cannabis products. As a cannabis blogger, I had this event on my calendar for some time, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to meet the legend himself. The final stop of his tour was at The Apothecarium Dispensary in Lodi, NJ, which had previously hosted a successful debut event for another cannabis product from the Cookies culture and lifestyle brand founded by CEO Berner.
While there, I had the chance to tour the dispensary and see several other high-quality cannabis brands on display, including Cookies, Gage, and Kind Tree. Despite the various product offerings at The Apothecarium Dispensary during the Tyson 2.0 Global product debut event, I was solely focused on purchasing the ‘Tyson Mike Bites.’ Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disappointment when I discovered that the product was only for display and not available for purchase.

However, I did end up purchasing an event promo bundle that included Tyson 2.0’s cannabis flower strains, KY Jealous #4 and White Grapefruit Cookies #7, along with Funfetti Reserve Flower from Gage and Slapz Flower Littles from Kind Tree. While the bundle was enjoyable, I hoped for more of Tyson’s signature products. After making my purchases, I waited in line for over an hour to meet the boxing legend and cannabis entrepreneur himself, Mike Tyson.
When he finally arrived, I eagerly awaited my turn for a photo op with him. It was an honor and a privilege to meet someone who has significantly impacted the boxing and cannabis industries. It was an exciting experience to meet Mike Tyson and witness the debut of his new products, surrounded by other passionate cannabis enthusiasts at a dispensary that showcased a variety of excellent brands.

Overall, while I was disappointed not to be able to purchase the ‘Tyson Mike Bites,’ the event was still an exciting experience. The range of high-quality cannabis products on display from various brands was impressive, and I was able to try out some excellent products.
Congratulations to The Apothecarium Dispensary for hosting a successful meet-and-greet event with Mike Tyson. I’m excited to see what new products and events Tyson 2.0 Global and other cannabis brands will offer in the future.
